Four agencies, including the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), have been given mandatory training, which will be followed by an exam, the official said.
The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MAHARERA) will train 39,000 real estate agents across the state so that they can provide better services to home and property buyers.

Meanwhile, in another development, the state police arrested four people, including a woman, for allegedly duping over 150 homebuyers of Rs 3.75 crore in three districts of Maharashtra including Mumbai. An official provided this information on Wednesday.
