Sony Pictures Entertainment India on Wednesday announced that Brad Pitt’s upcoming film “Bullet Train” will hit Indian cinemas on August 5.
The action comedy film will be released in four languages English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the studio said in a statement.
David Leach, best known for films such as “Deadpool 2” and “Hobbs and Shaw”, directed the film, which is based on the Japanese novel “Maria Beetle” by writer Kotaro Isaka.
Pitt stars as Ladybug, a veteran killer who wants to give up life but is pulled back by his handler, Maria Beetle, to collect a briefcase on a bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Once on the ship, he and the other competing assassins discover that their objectives are all linked.
“Bullet Train” also stars Joy King, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Logan Lerman, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Cozy, Bad Bunny, Hiroyuki Sanada and Sandra Bullock.
