British Airways passenger paid extra for ‘windowless’ window seat, shares photo

Tweet has over 5,900 likes

Passengers generally prefer window seats while traveling to enjoy the outside view, whether it is while traveling by train or flight. A passenger who recently boarded British Airways and paid extra for a window seat was dismayed to find that he got a seat without a window.

Despite having window seats, it does not have a window. On Twitter, a passenger named Anirudh Mittal shared the photo of the seat he got in the flight. There was no window in the seat.

“I paid extra for the right side window seat because it must be beautiful when you land at Heathrow,” the post’s caption read. He tagged British Airways, saying, “Where’s my window?”

Another user wrote, “The British and their old habits of stealing.”

“You have the most important role of them all: to maintain the structural integrity of the perimeter of that frame,” expressed a third user.

The fourth said, “The same thing happened in Emirates, I chose a seat for my son to travel and my son told me after the journey that there is no window.”

A fifth user commented, “I got a seat like this in Indigo flight. When I asked AH about my window, she was surprised.”
