Out of 247 vacancies, 217 vacancies are for Head Constable (Radio Operator) and 30 for Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in the communication set-up of BSF.
Border Security Force (BSF) has invited applications from male and female candidates for recruitment to the post of Head Constable in its Communication Wing. Candidates can apply for the vacancies by visiting the recruitment portal of BSF at rectt.bsf.gov.in. The online registration process will start from 22nd April and will end on 12th May. Through this recruitment drive, BSF aims to fill a total of 247 vacancies.
There are a total of 217 vacancies for Head Constable (Radio Operator) and 30 vacancies for Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in the communication set-up of Border Security Force. Selected candidates will get Pay Matrix Level – 4 (Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 as per 7th Central Pay Commission) along with other special allowances for Central Government employees. Age Range: The minimum age requirement for the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 25 years as on May 12. Upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates.
Educational qualification: Those applying for BSF Head Constable post must have passed class 12th with 60 per cent aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or matriculation with two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate.
BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2023: Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit the recruitment portal of BSF at rectt.bsf.gov.in
Step 2: Look for the Registration section and click on it.
Step 3: Find the notification link which reads – ‘BSF RO/RM Recruitment 2023’.
Step 4: After that click on apply.
Step 5: As the new window opens, fill the recruitment form as instructed.
Step 6: Upload all the required documents and pay the application fee. Finally submit the asked form.
Step 7: Take a printout of BSF application form for future reference.
Application fee
General, OBC and EWS category candidates need to submit Rs 100 as examination fee along with Rs 47.20 as service charge. SC/ST/BSF serving personnel and Ex-servicemen as well as women candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
