state owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has updated the existing prepaid recharge plan with new benefits. The plan in question is an annual prepaid plan of Rs 2,399 that used to come with a validity of one year (365 days). After the update, the recharge plan will offer an additional 60 days validity to its users, which means that the plan now offers a validity of 425 days.
This plan is now listed on the official website of BSNL with updated benefits and accordingly this offer will be available till the end of June. Interestingly, BSNL users who have recently recharged with the plan will also be eligible for extended validity benefits.
BSNL Rs 2,399 prepaid recharge plan: Benefits
The Rs 2,399 prepaid recharge plan comes with a validity of 425 days or 14 months. In addition, it offers unlimited calling, unlimited data (speed reduced to 40 Kbps after 2GB/day) + 100 SMS/day to any network including MTNL network in Mumbai and Delhi. The plan also offers Free PRBT with Unlimited Song Change Option (30 Days) + Free EROS Now Entertainment Services (30 Days) + Lokdhun (30 Days).

Rs 2,399 is not the only plan that comes with a longer validity period. Apart from this, the telecom operator also offers Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,999 prepaid plans that come with a validity of 365 days and 455 days respectively. Both the plans offer unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and data benefits.
