After announcing a hiatus from his group activities in June, BTS rapper Jhpop is enjoying impressive success in his solo career. He first released his solo album ‘Jack in the Box’, which broke several records, and then became the first K-pop artist to headline the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago. Now, she’s all set to make her solo debut at Dick Clark’s Rocking New Year’s Eve party. The rapper previously performed with his BTS members Jungkook, Jimin, Wa aka Kim Taehyung, RM, Jin and Suga in 2017 and 2019. However, this year is special as it will be his solo performance.
On Wednesday, BTS Jhope was spotted at the airport leaving for New York from South Korea. The rapper looked excited about his performance and was even seen grooving at the airport. Her impromptu dance has sent the internet into a tizzy and they are getting hyped for her performance. Hobie also kissed fans gathered at the airport and posed for the cameras. The BTS rapper assured his fans that he will return to them safely when they are asleep.

BTS Jhoop won’t be the only K-pop artist at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve party. He will join TXT. It is being said that Hoby will be seen performing some of his most popular songs like ‘Chicken Noodle Soup, Equal Sign, Butter Holiday Remix’ and more.
Earlier, BTS Jhoop shared glimpses of their preparations for the New Year performance on Instagram. The rapper shared some pictures from the rehearsal studio and said, “I’m ready.” He also showed a glimpse of his flight and was looking cute.
On a related note, BTS rapper Jhope had the most special Christmas gift for the ARMY as he surprised fans by attending Crush’s concert. He appeared on stage out of nowhere during the encore performance of “Rush Hour”, a song the two had previously collaborated on. The guest appearance left fans wanting more, as Hobie danced and sang with Crush.

For those unaware, the BTS members are currently juggling their work commitments to go for their mandatory military service. Jin, the oldest member of the band, is already working in Frontline and will return after 18 months in 2024. It is said that all the members of BTS will reunite as a band in 2025.
