Bulk deals: IIFL Finance, Kalyan Jewellers, Landmark Cars witness huge trade

Bulk and block deals: Stocks like IIFL Finance, Kalyan Jewellers, and Landmark Cars among others witness huge deals in the open market on Friday. These were among the most active stocks during the day’s trading session.

Kalyan Jewellers saw a host of buyers including BNP Paribas, Citigroup, and Nomura MFs among others after Highdell Investment offloaded 725 crore worth of shares. DSP MF buys 250 crore of IIFL, while Bajaj Finance sold around 2.25 lakh stake in Landmark.

Here is the list of the large buy and sell on Friday:

1. IIFL Finance:

FIH Mauritius Investments offloaded 50 lakh equity shares at 500 apiece in IIFL Finance on NSE. These shares were purchased by DSP Mutual Fund to the tune of 250 crore.

2. Kalyan Jewellers:

On NSE, Highdell Investment offloaded 6,41,02,561 equity shares at a price of 113.10 apiece. The transaction aggregated to 724.99 crore.

While Highdell sold a portion of its stake in Kalyan, there were multiple buyers in the open market. Among the most to buy would be BNP Paribas Arbitrage who purchased 1,67,99,292 equity shares at 113.10 apiece in Kalyan.

Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius bought 44,20,866 equity shares in Kalyan, while Employees Provident Fund purchased 22 lakh equity shares. Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund bought 85,02,316 equity shares, and Nomura Funds Ireland PLC also bought 35,98,743 equity shares.

3. Landmark Cars:

NBFC giant Bajaj Finance offloaded 2.25 lakh equity shares in Landmark Cars at a price of 690.03 apiece.

The selloff was aggregated to 15.53 crore.

4. Piramal Pharma:

Caisse De Depot ET Placement Du Quebec offloaded 1,05,70,466 stakes in the company at 94.48 apiece.

While Vangaurd Group Inc bought 62,02,912 equity shares at 94.71 per share.

5. Sakthi Sugars:

Asset Reconstruction Company India purchased 7,42,001 equity shares in Sakthi Sugars, at 26.44 per share.

6. Aavas Financiers:

Small Cap World Fund Inc sold 7,08,978 equity shares in the company. The transaction was carried at 1,350.02 per share.

Overall, the fund house sold 95.71 crore worth of shares.
