Bullet Train Project: L&T makes lowest bid for construction of Vadodara station

Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project: Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has emerged as the lowest bidder for the design and construction of Vadodara station for the 8 km viaduct in Gujarat and the country’s first bullet train corridor .

The National High-Speed ​​Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), responsible for implementing the High-Speed ​​Rail Corridor, has opened financial bids for the design and construction of the viaduct, including the High-Speed ​​Rail (HSR) station at Vadodara.

The financial bids of two technically qualified bidders were opened and M/s Larsen & Toubro Limited emerged as the lowest bidder, NHSRCL said in a statement. The technical bid of this tender was opened on 5 October 2021.

The 508 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Corridor will pass through areas of Dadra and Nagar Haveli along with Maharashtra, Gujarat at a speed of 320 kmph. The entire distance is expected to be covered in two-three hours and will cover 12 stations along the route.
