The BYD Atto 3 is the largest SUV in this comparison. It has a longer, wider and longer wheelbase than both the Hyundai Kona and the MG ZS EV, However, it is the MG electric SUV that stands out here.
Battery pack and range
The BYD Atto 3 gets a 60.48 kWh battery that offers an ARAI-certified range of 521 km on a full charge, which is the highest of the three. In AC charging, it will take around 10 hours for the battery to be fully charged, whereas DC fast charger will take it from 0 – 80% in just 50 minutes.
In contrast, the Hyundai Kona Electric gets a 39.2 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 452 km. It can be charged from 0 to 100% in about 6 hours 10 minutes with an AC charger, while a 50 kW DC fast charger will charge it from 0 to 80% in 57 minutes.

The BYD Atto 3 is the most powerful SUV here, with an electric motor of 201 hp. It is also the fastest runner, with a claimed 0 to 100 kmph time of 7.3 seconds. Hyundai Kona Electric, on the other hand, has the highest amount of torque.

The Hyundai Kona Electric is available in a single full-loaded variant, priced at Rs 23.84 lakh for the monotone and Rs 24.03 lakh for the dual-tone version. On the other hand, the MG ZS EV is priced from Rs 22.58 lakh to Rs 26.50 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
Meanwhile, the BYD Atto 3 price is expected to be revealed in December, before the electric SUV goes on sale in January 2023. The Atto 3 could be priced at a slight premium over the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric which are expected to be priced. Tag around Rs 30 lakh.
