Anupama Raju’s book tells the stories of a city where there is sun and where there is no sun
CPoet and writer Anupama Raju’s novel was released in the city on Friday.
Poet and writer K. In conversation with Srilatha, Ms. Raju said during the release of her book C Tells the story of two cities. “While one has the sun and the other does not. The author chooses to go to the city without the sun to spend his time writing. The book deals with what happens when he lives in a city without the sun. So what happens because there is eternal darkness, the strange experiences she goes through and the ghostly characters she encounters.
Ms. Srilatha said the book’s form was particularly appealing. He said, “The way the poetry intertwines with the prose greatly enriches the book.”
Ms Raju said: “I wanted to tell a story using poetry. These experiments have been done successfully by many contemporary authors. I wanted to see what it would be like to combine prose with poetry; This is an experiment. I will never stop writing poetry.”
title C Open to readers’ interpretation. “It can even stand in for a city,” she said. “Cities have always been important to me. I wanted to see what the story of a city could be. How can one relate that city – whether real or imaginary – to the state of mind of a man or woman. I wanted to establish a relationship between them. I wanted to use a form of poetry and prose and experiment with storytelling using these two things,” she said.
