Canon launches XA series camcorders with 1-inch CMOS sensor UVC support, price starts at Rs 2,06,995 – Times of India

Canon has announced its new XA Series professional camcorders in India. The lineup includes the XA65/XA60 and XA751/XA70. According to the company, the new camcorders are designed to offer high quality output and are suitable for broadcast, reporting, documentary and event shooting.
These new cameras are the first cameras in Canon’s XA series to feature UVC compatibility, which, according to the company, allows for high-image-quality streaming with just a single USB (Type-C) cable. In addition, the cameras are equipped with a large and bright electrostatic capacitance-type LCD touchscreen monitor for better visibility when shooting outdoors.

Canon XA75 and XA70 Camcorders: Features
The newly announced XA75 and XA70 models now support the UVC (USB Video Class) communication protocol which allows users to transfer files via USB. Furthermore, both the models are equipped with a 1-inch CMOS sensor and are powered by the DIGIC DV6 image processor.
It can record videos in 4K resolution with 15x optical zoom. The camcorders have a zoom range of about 25.5mm at the wide end and about 382.5mm at the telephoto end. The large sensor enables video footage to be captured with bright, high-sensitivity recording with excellent background blur and minimal noise in low-light environments. The XA75 and XA70 are equipped with Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology.
Canon XA65 and XA60 Camcorders: Features:
The XA65 and XA60 are equipped with a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor and a DIGIC DV 6 image processor as well as a 4K-compatible 20x optical zoom lens, all in a compact and lightweight body that measures approximately 109 mm (W) x measure. 84 mm (H) x 182 mm (D) and weighs approximately 750 grams. The camera supports 4K/30p image capture across the entire zoom range—from about 29.3mm at the wide end to about 601mm at the telephoto end.
