Capt Amarinder Singh meets Amit Shah in Delhi ahead of Punjab elections

Former Punjab Chief Minister and leader of the newly formed Punjab Lok Congress Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi. BJP President JP Nadda and Punjab BJP in-charge Gajendra Singh Shekhawat were also present during the meeting.

Punjab BJP in-charge Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that he met the party chief of all three parties- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Punjab Lok Congress and Dhindsa-led SAD (United).

“A committee consisting of two members from each party will be formed to discuss issues like seat-sharing, a joint manifesto,” Shekhawat said.

It is expected that both the parties will form a big alliance with various branches of Akali Dal together.
