Skoda Auto India has released its monthly sales numbers for October 2021, during which the company sold 3,065 units in the country. Compared to 1,421 units sold during the same month in 2020, Skoda witnessed a year-on-year growth of 116 per cent. Now Skoda says that its sales were largely driven by demand for the new Kushak compact SUV, which is the company’s best-selling model right now. Skoda launched the Kushaq compact SUV in June and has been witnessing a tremendous growth in sales since then. So far, the company has garnered over 15,000 bookings for the SUV, and is selling over 2,000 units of the Kushak every month on an average. In fact, Skoda says the numbers for the Excellent, Octavia And Fast also, all of which have contributed to increasing sales volume.
