NS Common Entrance Test (CAT) 2021 Starting today 28th November. Those appearing for the entrance test must not forget to carry their hall ticket which was issued on the official website along with their original ID proof.
CAT 2021 admit card should be printed on A4-size paper, preferably using a laser printer. It should clearly have the photograph and signature of the candidate printed on it. As per the guidelines, candidates are required to affix a passport size photograph at the space provided on the admit card, same as the one in the application form.

CAT 2021 exam is being conducted in three sessions – 8.30 am to 10.30 am, 12.30 pm to 02.30 pm and 04.30 pm to 06.30 pm. The exam conducting body, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad had issued guidelines on the day of the exam which are mandatory to follow.
Candidates must ensure to reach the examination center on reporting time or at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Entry will not be allowed after the reporting time. They will also have to complete the admission process which is temperature check, document verification, IRIS and photo capture at the test centre. Apart from this, applicants also need to scan the barcode printed on the admit card to know about the allotted exam lab. Once the admission process is completed, candidates will be given a pen and a scribble pad.

CAT 2021: Items allowed in the exam center
Admit card, photo identity card, mask, sanitizer, necessary medical certificate, and scribe affidavit (if any) will be allowed inside the examination premises only. In addition, candidates are allowed to wear socks, plain sweaters, sweaters and/or cardigans (without any pockets). Candidates who have metal implants, pacemakers etc in their body are required to bring a supporting medical certificate.
This year, students will be allowed 40 minutes duration to write the exam per section. After the completion of 40 minutes, the timer will hit zero, and the current section will be automatically submitted. Candidate will be automatically taken to the next section to start answering the same.
