Patiala : CBI raided the premises on Saturday Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Amargarh constituency Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra In the alleged bank loan fraud case of Rs 40.9 crore and recovered about Rs 16.5 crore in cash and some documents. You MLA Alleged that the central government is targeting them.
“I resigned as a director of a private firm owned by my younger brother in 2016. I do not know much about the matter, though one thing is clear that the central government is targeting me,” Gajjanamajra said.
It is learned that the CBI had conducted searches at three places, including a private firm, in the ongoing probe into the bank fraud case. It is learned that the CBI has recovered Rs 16.57 lakh (approx), around 88 foreign currency notes, some property documents, several bank accounts and other incriminating documents. It is also learned that the CBI has recovered several blank checks bearing the signatures of various persons with attached base leaves.

The MLA claimed that the firm is now owned by his younger brother as he had resigned as its director about six years ago.
