CBIC reminds of deadline for filing GST returns, details here

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has asked to submit ‘Form ITC-04’ for the quarter July to September 2021 by 25 October 2021, reminding the deadline for filing Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns . CBIC also informed that the due date for filing quarterly GSTR-3B return for Q2FY22 under QRMP scheme (Quarterly Return Monthly Payment) is 24 October 2021. The central government body in a series of tweets spoke about the deadline for filing GST returns for Q2FY22.

Informing about the time limit for furnishing information of goods consigned on job work, CBIC tweeted, “Attention GST Taxpayers! Filing of Form ITC-04 in respect of Inputs/Capital Goods sent to Job Worker or received from the job worker, during the quarter (July to September 2021) is October 25, 2021.”

Reminding the GST taxpayers who are under the QRMP scheme, the state group 2 having principal place of business, to file their returns within three days, the CBIC tweeted, “Attention to the GST taxpayers who are under the QRMP scheme. and the states having a principal place of business in the group. 2. The due date for filing your quarterly GSTR-3B return for July to September is October 24, 2021.”
