AHMEDABAD: The long-awaited class 12th result was declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday.
Girls once again outperformed boys by 3.29%. Over 33,000 students scored above 95% in the country this year, while 1.34 lakh students scored more than 90%. All the students of the city were smiling while checking their results. Most of the schools in the city recorded 100% result. Students also managed to get full marks in various subjects.
Once again, the students of DPS-Bopal Great performance and lived up to everyone’s expectations. Out of a total of 388 students who took the exam in various streams, 130 scored 90% and above. Scoring 98.2%, Prachi Jindal Has emerged as a topper in Science stream. He is followed by Sangini Gandhi with 97.8%. 33 students secured 100% marks in various subjects. In DPS, Gandhinagar, 53 students appeared for the exam, out of which seven secured more than 90% marks. With 98.6%, Sakshi Rao emerged as the school topper.
He was followed by Shenhil Bora with 94.8%. Most of the 69 students who took the exam in the science stream at Maharaja Agrasen Vidyalaya secured distinction. In Science, Keshini Trivedi topped the merit list of the school by securing 96.40 percent marks and Prashant Srivastava secured the second position with 94.20 percent marks.
Out of 83 students who took the exam at St. Kabir School, 37 scored 90% and above. Manush Patel became the school topper with 96.2%.
At Udgam School for Children, 23 out of 86 students who took the exam scored above 90%. With 98%, Dikshita Athreya was the topper of the school.
Ishudhi Garg was the topper in Divine Child International School, Adalaj with 95.8%. In Group A, 73.68 per cent students secured distinction, while in Group B, 84.85 per cent students secured distinction in Prakash School. Heer Kubaria was the topper in Group A with 98.4%, while Manaswini was the Group B topper with 96.2%.
