CBSE class 10th, 12th result 2022: Students worried, CBSE board to declare results by July end – Times of India

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to declare the 10th and 12th class results by the last week of July. More than 33 lakh students are eagerly waiting for their 10th and 12th class result as it has become a long wait for them now and they are expecting that it will be released soon on its official website.

CBSE has conducted the Class 10th and 12th Term 2 exams from April to June, 2022.

CBSE Exam 2022: Important Dates

However, CBSE is yet to confirm the last date for the declaration of CBSE 10th and 12th class results.

CBSE 12th class students are worried as many colleges including Mumbai University have started the admission process, students will find it difficult to get admission.

CBSE is now already approaching the University Grants Commission (UGC) instructing all the higher education institutions to plan their admission schedule keeping in mind the CBSE board result declaration.

The UGC said, “It is learned that some universities have started registration in undergraduate courses for the session (2022-’23). In this scenario, CBSE students will be denied admission in undergraduate courses if the last date is CBSE. The result is decided by the universities before the declaration.

This year, the exam was conducted in two terms, Term 1 was conducted in the format of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in November-December, 2021, while Term 2 was conducted in May-June, 2022.

According to CBSE officials, the final result will include the results of Term 1, Term 2 along with internal assessment and practical performance of the students, but the board has not specified about the weightage.

CBSE students have already taken to Twitter and started trending with the hashtag “CBSEacceptBestOfEitherTerms” and demanding CBSE to accept the best of both as the final result calculation method. Not only students but their parents are also protesting against giving more weightage to internal assessment. But the board is still silent on whether they will consider their demand or not.

Not even the students but their parents are also expecting the officials to release the official notification at least about the result declaration date. According to the students, it is becoming very difficult for them to wait without any confirmation as they are not able to plan anything. But the CBSE officials are still silent on confirming the result declaration date.
