Center may reduce gap between second covid jab and booster dose to 6 months

News agency PTI on Wednesday quoted official sources as saying that the central government may soon reduce the gap between the second Kovid vaccine and the booster dose to six months.

The current gap between the second COVID jab and the precautionary dose, as it is called, is nine months.

The National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) will hold a meeting on April 29 and recommend ways to bridge the gap, PTI reported.
