The board has directed schools to conduct practical exams and project work evaluations for students at their designated exam centers between March 2 and 30.
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has decided to go ahead with its earlier plan to conduct class 10 and class 12 board exams offline from March 2.
Meanwhile, many students were demanding to conduct the exam in online mode, however, the board has put an end to all the demands and speculations. Issuing a fresh notice on February 9, the board has directed schools to conduct practical exams and project work evaluations for students at their designated exam centers between March 2 and 30.
CGBSE has also emphasized that no special relaxation or re-examination will be conducted for the absentees. As per the CGBSE notice, class 10 and 12 students registered for the board exams will have to submit at least two assignments out of the total given six. Students who do not submit the assignments as per the instructions of the boar will be debarred from appearing in the main examination as well, read the notice.

As the regular operation of classes and schools remained affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, the board also reduced the syllabus of class 10 and 12 by 30 per cent.
Class 12 exam will start with Hindi subject paper on March 2, while class 10 board exam will start from March 3. All the exams will be held from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm only. All the candidates have to report to the exam hall by 9:00 AM, after that the question papers will be distributed at 9:05 AM. The answer sheets will be given to the students at 9:10 am and the exam writing period will start from 9:15 am.
