Thiruvananthapuram: A 17-year-old boy, an accused in the chain snatching case, died on Sunday when the bike he was riding collided with a road divider on the national highway at Paroorakuzhi Pallichal near Naruvamudu here, police said.
Police said that her 21-year-old co-accused, who was riding in the rear, got injured in the accident and underwent surgery on her leg.
The incident happened at around 6.40 am when both were returning from Thukle. Kanyakumari After allegedly snatching a gold chain from a woman in the early hours of the morning in the district, Tamil Nadu, police said.
