Which herb is included in almost all our dishes? We are sure many of you will think of coriander. And the same sentiment is echoed by many other Indians including Chef Ranveer Brar. While we always knew in our hearts that coriander is an essential in our kitchen, and add a handful of fresh coriander to all our vegetables and parathas every day, Chef Ranveer Brar Be outspoken about your feelings. In fact, he went an extra mile and started a petition (of sorts) online to give coriander the title of ‘national herb’.
Knowingly or unknowingly, we have made coriander the star of every dish, either by adding its minty flavor to the food or garnishing it with green herbs. coriander Unquestionably the most commonly used herb in Indian kitchens. So, when we saw Ranveer Brar’s post of a picture in which he wrote ‘Petition to make coriander the national herb’, we can only agree in a jiffy.

The picture also shows the reaction of some people who immediately agreed to join the proposal and asked “Where should we sign?” The post has already garnered over 18k likes and several comments.
One comment read, “I have also bought a Satya Paul saree which has coriander print on it. Love this herb. Adds that final touch and aroma to any dish. In the south we call it Kothamalli ” Other comments read, “Coriander leaves all time fave” and “Yes I love coriander leaves”.
