Chennai-based AVR Oil and Gas Pvt Ltd has proposed to invest ₹100 crore to explore natural gas and develop three wells over an area of ​​24.2 sq km in the Krishna-Godavari basin in Konaseema region of East Godavari district.

According to the executive summary report, the onshore project involves the development of three exploratory wells, a commissioning of an initial processing system/gas production unit (EPS-GPU), where the discovered oil can be processed and through a pipeline system. can be supplied.

Investigation

Three wells will be developed on the coastal bank near Keshavadasupalem village in Konaseema region, each with a depth of 3000-4000 metres. As part of the exploration, a pipeline will be laid for the KG/OSDSF/GSKV1/2016 block in the KG basin.

The entire block boundary is the shoreline. The exploration activity would be carried out for two to five months at each well, where at least 40 personnel would be deployed.
