Shutters of fast-filling Poondi reservoir open, Chembarambakkam lake floodgates to be opened soon

Heaviest rain in 24 hours in Chennai since 2015 floods

Incessant rain is likely to continue in the city since Saturday night as thunderstorms are expected on Sunday as well.

Flood alert issued in Chennai
