Chhattisgarh Board Exam 2022: Students need 2 assignments to be eligible to appear in 10th, 12th exams

The Chhattisgarh Board exams will start from March 2, however, the board has made it mandatory for the students to submit two assignments in order to appear in the exam. Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) Six assignments have been issued for 10th and 12th board. Out of the total, two have been made mandatory to be completed and submitted before the board exams.

Those who fail to submit the assignment will not be allowed to appear in the examination. This time the board has cut the syllabus by 30 percent. The board has decided to take the exams offline and the timetable has been released in December. The examination will be conducted offline only if the cases of Kovid-19 are less in the state. While no decision has been taken on whether the assignment marks will be added in the main exam, students will have to submit two assignments to appear in the exam.

Board secretary VK Goel said that if a student does not submit the assignment, he will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Last year due to the situation of Kovid-19, the 10th board exam was not conducted and marks were given to the students only on the basis of the assignments given. Goyal said that the class 12 board exams were given to the students sitting at home.

As per the schedule, the CGBSE Class 10 board exams will be held from March 3 to 23 and that of Class 12 from March 2 to 30. There will be one shift on all the exam days and it will be conducted from 9 AM to 12:15 PM. Students have to reach the examination venue by 9 am. Question papers will be distributed at 9:05 am and students will be given 10 minutes to read the question paper. They can start answering questions from 9:15 am.

This year, more than 6 lakh 83 thousand students have registered to appear in the 10th and 12th board exams. Since the exam will be held in March, CGBSE is preparing to take the offline exam.
