Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday approved a budget of Rs 500 crore for repair and maintenance of school buildings in the state.
In his instructions to the Chief Secretary, he said, “To ensure smooth education in all schools, the work of repairing schools should be started immediately as soon as the rainy season ends.
The Chief Minister had received information about the condition of the school buildings from villagers, public representatives and media representatives during a meeting.
Due to lack of sufficient funds to repair the school buildings for a long time, the students faced many hurdles in concentrating on their studies.
