After the price revision, the Citroen C5 Aircross has become costlier by Rs 45,000 per variant. Compared to the launch price of Rs 29.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the mid-sized SUV is now costlier by around Rs 2.80 lakh in just one year of launch. The new price of the Citroen C5 Aircross in India is Rs 32.68 lakh for the base variant, while the top-spec variant costs Rs 34.23 (both prices are ex-showroom).
Available in two variants – Feel and Shine, the Citroen C5 Aircross mid-size SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that develops 175 hp of peak power and 400 Nm of peak torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission is on offer. The mid-size SUV gets Eco and Sport drive modes along with Grip control system.
There are five different modes available with the Citroen C5 Aircross SUV – Standard, Snow, Sand, Traction Control Off and All-Terrain. It offers fuel economy of 18.6 kmpl (ARAI-certified). The mid-size SUV takes on its potential competitors in the Indian market, such as the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass and Volkswagen Tiguan.
