Citroen India has quietly revised the prices of the C5 Aircross mid-size SUV. Now its price is Rs. 31.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Citroen India Entered the competitive Indian car market with the launch of C5 Aircross The SUV that debuted earlier this year. The French carmaker has quietly increased the prices of the mid-sized SUV by up to Rs 1.40 lakh. The SUV went on sale in the country with prices starting at Rs 29.90 lakh for the Feel (mono-tone) variant. The dual-tone variant of the Feel trim was priced at Rs 30.40 lakh. The top-spec Shine variant was offered at ₹ 31.90 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

The Citroen C5 Aircross is sold in India as a completely knocked down (CKD) model.

As per the details listed on the carmaker’s official website, the prices of the Citroen C5 Aircross now start at ₹ 31.30 lakh for the feel variant (mono-tone), while the price of the dual-tone feel variant is ₹ 31.80 lakh (all prices ex- Showroom Delhi). The mono-tone and dual-tone variants of the Shine trim are priced at ₹ 32.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Citroen C5 Aircross is assembled at Citroen India’s plant in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu.
Citroen offers the mid-size SUV in two trims – Feel and Shine. The SUV comes as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kit and is locally assembled at the carmaker’s facility in Tamil Nadu. The SUV features a signature-style grille, LED vision projector headlamps with LED DRLs, front fog lamps, dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED side indicators, rear fog lamps, wraparound LED taillights, 12.3-inch TFT instrument display, an 8- inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, six airbags, ESP, hill descent control, hill start assist, traction control, blind spot information system (BLIS), park assist, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, Electric parking brake and more.

The Citroen C5 Aircross comes with a single powertrain option, which is a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The unit is tuned to develop a maximum power of 175 bhp against 400 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. The company also claims that the SUV can deliver a proven fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl.
