Altogether 16 teams are participating in the tournament and will conclude on 17th September.
The city police won the match with Srikakulam Police by a scoreline of 1-0 on the second day of the 8th DRM Cup football match on Sunday.
The chief guest of a match on the second day was King George Hospital doctor SNR Naveen.
The matches, which began at the Waltair Railway Football Stadium on Saturday, were inaugurated by Divisional Railway Manager Anoop Kumar Satpathy, who is also the President of the ECoR Sports Association, Waltair.
Dr Naveen is a former Indian international footballer, son of late Siddhant Varahlu of Indian Railways.
Earlier, he was introduced to the two teams (Srikakulam and City Police teams) and the acting referee of the match.
A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament and will conclude on September 17.
