Chief Minister MK Stalin spoke to legal experts via video conferencing regarding the release of six other convicts convicted of assassinating former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in Udhagamandalam.
Sources said that after the release of AG Perarivalan, discussions were held to ensure the release of six others. In a press note, the district administration said that Nilgiris MP A.K. Raja, Water Resources Minister S. Duraimurugan, Law Minister S. Regupati, Chief Secretary, V. Irai Anbu and senior lawyers participated.
