CM Yogi will dedicate projects worth Rs 143 crore to Azamgarh, will visit Varanasi later

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Azamgarh and Varanasi districts on Thursday and inaugurate several development projects.

The Chief Minister will inaugurate development projects worth over Rs 143 crore in Azamgarh, including the inauguration of 31 projects and laying the foundation stone of 19 programmes. The leaders will stay in Azamgarh for about three and a half hours, during which they will also hold a divisional review meeting.

Tight security arrangements have been made before the CM’s visit to Azamgarh. Azamgarh SP Anurag Arya has told that apart from the district police, 300 sub-inspectors, 1,500 constables and head constables have been called from outside.

The Chief Minister will also review the divisional development works at the Collectorate at Azamgarh. Adityanath is visiting the district for the first time after the BJP’s victory in the Azamgarh parliamentary by-election.

According to the information, CM Yogi will have reached Azamgarh Police Line by helicopter from Gorakhpur at 11 am on Thursday. According to the protocol, the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 50 schemes worth Rs 143 crore along with addressing the public meeting at ITI Ground.

He will also interact with music artists in Hariharpur village and conduct divisional reviews at the Collectorate. CM Yogi is expected to leave for Varanasi by helicopter at around 4 pm. The CM will reach Varanasi on Thursday and will stay there for two days.

After holding a divisional review meeting at the Circuit House in Varanasi in the evening, Adityanath will visit Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Kalbhairav ​​Temple and pay tribute to them. On Thursday, CM Yogi will rest the night in Varanasi itself. He will leave for Lucknow on Friday morning after meeting party functionaries and dignitaries.
