The price of commercial LPG used by hotels and other commercial establishments was hiked by up to ₹105 on Tuesday its second highest But the rates of subsidized gas sold to households remained stable.

This is the second highest rate after ₹2,101 per cylinder in December 2021.

LPG rates are revised on the 1st of every month based on the benchmark fuel price in the previous month.

However, the price of LPG, the domestic cooking gas sold to households, has not changed since October, when it was increased to ₹899.50 per 14.2 kg cylinder.

The gap in those rates came after the opposition criticized the hike in prices by Rs 90 in the last six months.

Like LPG, the prices of petrol and diesel are also stable since the beginning of November 2021.
