Congress will form a stable government in Himachal Pradesh: Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu

Amid ongoing political tension over the chief minister’s post in Himachal Pradesh, Congress leader Sukhwinder Sukhu has said that the Congress party will form a stable government in the hill state.

He further said that no one will break away from Congress but 6-7 BJP MLAs can join Congress.

talking to news agency ANI, “The Congress will have the most stable government in Himachal Pradesh. 40 MLAs were elected and 3 other MLAs have pledged their support. We are 43 MLAs. No one will break with Congress but with BJP. They only set the narrative. In the coming time, 6-7 MLAs of BJP can join Congress.

The Congress leader also rubbished claims of him being the chief ministerial candidate.

“I was never in the race – neither today nor in the future. I am a Congress worker and I have always worked as a worker. I never aspired for office. Congress gave me the state was made party chief. The party has given me a lot and it is my duty to follow their orders, he said.
