Former Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma told NDTV on Thursday that the Congress is going into a stoic approach in the electoral battle without a winning campaign, elaborating why he and 11 other MLAs switched to the Trinamool Congress.

“Unfortunately, there are many other senior leaders who have tried to talk to the senior leadership in Congress, but to no avail… It is not that Dr. Mukul Sangma has not tried. Dr. Mukul Sangma has tried Have tried after. For the audience [with the Congress leadership]Sangma said, when asked whether he had tried to discuss the problems with the party leadership before switching to Trinamool.
