Security forces launched a search operation based on a specific input about the presence of terrorists in Gundipora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir, a police official said.

Two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists, including the killer of a police constable, were trapped in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, officials said. Security forces launched a search operation based on a specific input about the presence of terrorists in Gundipora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir, a police official said.
He said the search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire on the security personnel. The firing is on and so far there is no report of any casualty from either side, the official said.
