Coronavirus Variant: The deadly COVID-22 was just a rumour! More myths busted about COVID variants

While mutations and variants of the coronavirus strain, that is, the SARS-COV-2 virus, have been widely discussed, none of the discussion has centered around the pandemic taking an entirely new turn or turning into COVID-22.

In addition to the statements made by the said professor, such possibilities, or threats from COVID-22, or possible additions, are also some that do not yet have any scientific backing. Although the threat was termed as a major social media hoax, several expert opinions and scientists have noted through follow-up reports that there is no real possibility of a super variant emerging, or something like the COVID-19 of COVID-19. There is no chance of changing.

Much of the news on COVID-22 was also clarified as distorted representations without any scientific credibility. The exact name of the disease caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus is called COVID-19 and cannot be changed. Not only is the name of the coronavirus pandemic that originated in that year (ie, the COVID pandemic that began spreading from China’s Wuhan district in late 2019), there is no way for ’22’ in the said COVID-22 to have no significance , because we’re only in 2021 right now, and there’s no real way to predict what happens in the future. Until and unless there is an outbreak like this, we cannot hold COVID-22 to any credibility or truth.

There is not much truth or probability of superinfectious forms, and therefore as a result of existing strains just emerging. At this point in time, the suggestions seem only speculative and far-fetched.
