Court sends Manish Sisodia to ED custody for 7 days in liquor policy case

The ED said in its argument that although this decision of the liquor policy has been told by the Group of Ministers, but it is interesting that apart from a man, no one else is aware of it. Presenting its petition in the court, the ED said that Vijay Nair was leading the entire syndicate. Kavita had met Vijay Nair only. In this regard, ED has disclosed the WhatsApp chat of K Kavita and Vijay Nair.

Advocate Joheb Hussain presented the Enforcement Directorate (ED) side in the court. He claimed that there was a conspiracy behind the framing of the liquor policy. Its rules are that some special people will get 12% profit instead of 6%. Sisodia also gave digital evidence related to this.

The agency said that notices are sent to 7 people in liquor policy cases so that people sitting face to face with Sisodia can be questioned.

Sisodia’s lawyer kept these arguments
Manish Sisodia’s lawyer Dayan Krishnan said, ‘ED says this policy is wrong. The dated government has prepared its framework. It differs in many ways. It goes to the government, it goes to the officials. Goes to the classical and temporal crecatory. This petition goes to the Lieutenant Governor.

ED is talking about hand, there are many such examples
He said, ‘This liquor policy has been given to the Lieutenant Governor. LG By Center Govt. They asked 3 things, but none of them was related to profit margin or eligibility. ED is talking about haste. I can give many such examples of haste. Demonetisation was done and it was also given constitutional rule by the Supreme Court.

The investigating agency has started thinking of arresting as its right.
Sisodia’s second lawyer said- ‘These days it has become a fashion that the investigating agency is arresting people as per their discretion. The time has come, the court should act strictly in such cases.

Please inform that Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 in the Delhi Excise Policy case. After 7 days of questioning, he was produced in the court. The court later sent Sisodia to jail custody on March 20.
