‘Covid-19 was a man-made virus in Wuhan,’ researcher also questions US role

In his new book – The Truth About Wuhan, Andrew Huff, former Vice President of the EcoHealth Alliance, blames the US for ‘the biggest intelligence failure since 9/11’, as quoted by British magazine The Sun. They claim that the pandemic was caused by the US government funding the coronavirus in China. Excerpts from Huff’s book have been published in the UK tabloid The Sun.

“EcoHealth Alliance and foreign laboratories did not have adequate control measures in place to ensure proper biosafety, biosecurity and risk management, which ultimately resulted in the laboratory leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” Huff claims in his book, A special whose pre-release copy has been accessed by The Sun Online.

Huff says the pandemic was caused by the US government’s funding of coronaviruses in China. In the past, many experts have considered Wuhan to be the origin of COVID, despite China and Wuhan officials denying the allegations that the virus leaked. China blocked the WHO’s investigation into its origins by refusing access to the facility.

For more than a decade, the organization has been studying multiple coronaviruses in bats with funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and close ties to the Wuhan lab. NIH is the primary agency of the United States government responsible for biomedical and public health research.

In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Huff said, the Wuhan lab had been practicing ‘ways to engineer bat coronaviruses to attack other species’ for several years. He further said that China is aware of having ‘genetically engineered agents’.

“I was horrified by what I saw,” he told The Sun exclusively. “We were just handing them biological weapons technology.”

According to the report, Dr. Huff thinks Covid was born through the profits of US government-funded work research – and that poor biosecurity led to a lab leak.

“EcoHealth Alliance developed SARS-CoV-2 and was responsible for the development of the agent SARS-CoV-2 during my employment at the organization,” he was quoted as saying. However, he clarified that he had not seen any evidence that China intentionally spread the virus.

Dr. Huff also believes that the US-funded project was “a global fishing operation for the coronavirus” rather than preventing future pandemics.
