UAE scored 148 for 3 in the final Group A match of the first round of the ongoing T20 World Cup to restrict Namibia to 141 for 8. The loss to Namibia ruled them out of the T20 World Cup. Wiese failed to win the game for his side and was clearly hurt by it.
After the match, the all-rounder cried as he failed to control his emotions.

United Arab Emirates’ victory over Namibia kept both sides two points each and thus Netherlands, with four points in the kitty, entered the Super 12 after table-topper Sri Lanka from Group A.
