The Nifty 50 index closed 90 points higher at 17,812, the BSE Sensex closed 235 points higher at 60,392, while the Nifty Bank index closed 191 points higher at 41,557. Broad market indices performed largely in line with Nifty. The advance drawdown ratio stood at 1.64:1.

on outlook for smelly TODAY, Nagraj Shetty, Technical Research Analyst HDFC Securities said, “The market trend remains positive in the near term. Though Nifty is placed at swing high, there is no sign of any reversal pattern formation at higher levels. Next upside level seen around 18,200 Immediate support is placed at 17,700 levels for NSE Nifty.”
“Bulls will aim to take the positive baton for Thursday’s weekly expiry trade and continue to close the markets in the green,” said Rohan Patil, Technical Analyst, Samco Securities, on Intraday Trading Tips for Thursday’s session. The overall trend remains bullish. Any decline in the mode and index will be an opportunity for fresh entry.”
