Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, three army chiefs pay tribute at the National War Memorial

As India on Tuesday celebrated 23 years of its victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the 1999 Kargil War and laid a wreath at the National War Memorial in Delhi.

The three service chiefs – Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Pandey, Chief of the Navy Admiral R Hari Kumar and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary also laid wreaths at the memorial.
