Delhi civic body conducts skill based mid-term exams in its schools

The first mid-term examination was conducted in MCD schools after the amalgamation of the erstwhile three corporations which ended on Saturday, the civic body said in a statement.

A senior official said on Saturday that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has conducted a skill-based mid-term test to assess the competency level of students in its schools. He said that the examination which started a few days back ended on Saturday.

“This is in line with our commitment to provide quality primary education, and MCD is making best possible efforts to improve and upgrade the standard of education in its schools,” the official said.

The first mid-term examination was conducted in MCD schools after the amalgamation of the erstwhile three corporations which ended on Saturday, the civic body said in a statement.

The three corporations were amalgamated in May 2022. “Keeping in mind the learning outcomes, skill based question papers were specially designed for the exam. The objective of Nipun Bharat was also centered in the question papers,” the statement said.

In addition, a mega parent-teacher meeting will be organized on October 28 to share the progress reports of the students with their parents.
