Delhi: No parental consent required for offline classes and exams

The Delhi government on Tuesday said that parental consent will not be mandatory for class 10 and 12 students to attend offline classes and examinations.

However, the hybrid mode of classes and examinations i.e. offline as well as online will continue as before for classes up to 9th as well as 11th class in schools. All classes can be offline from April 1, 2022.

Earlier this month, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that all schools would start functioning offline from April 1. “DDMA withdraws all restrictions as people are facing difficulties due to loss of jobs. Schools will work completely offline from April 1. Fines. Deductible for not wearing masks. 500. Everyone should continue to follow the COVID-19 Appropriate Practices. The government will keep a close watch,” he had tweeted.
