Delhi Nursery Admission 2022-23: Schools will upload the list of students who have applied for admission on January 21 on the basis of application.

Admission to Nursery, KG and Class 1 in Delhi-based schools will start from December 15. The Directorate of Education, Delhi has said that the application forms for nursery admission in private schools will be available from December 15 and the last date to apply. Will be on 7th January. Schools will upload the list of students who have applied for admission on January 21 on the basis of application.
The age of children applying for admission in Nursery in Delhi school for the academic year 2022-23 will be reckoned as on 31 March 2021. Children applying for nursery should be above three years of age and less than four years of age. Whereas for KG the age should be more than four years and less than five years. For those applying for class 1, the child must be above five years of age and less than six years of age for admission.

Schools of Delhi will release the first merit list on February 4, the second on February 21. Parents should keep the required documents ready for admission after completing the online application. Documents required for admission include Aadhar card or voter card, ration card, electricity bill or phone bill for address proof.
Earlier the Deputy CM of Delhi had said that Schools in Delhi cannot stop any child from admission On the basis of declaring the name of only one parent. This was announced keeping in mind the fact that many children may have lost one or both the parents to COVID-19. “No student in Delhi shall deny admission to a child on the ground that the child is declaring the name of his/her single parent,” Sisodia had tweeted. Directorate of Directorate Education An order was also issued to give instructions to the schools.
