Delhi University (DU) released the cut-off list under Special Drive. details here

Delhi University on Saturday declared the cut-off marks for a special drive to fill the vacant seats. Candidates can apply today and tomorrow for admission under special drive.

The university has notified that candidates can check course-wise and category-wise availability of seats in the college for which they are applying. Merit list based on vacant seats and list of accepted candidates will be available on November 16 and November 17.

An official release also mentioned that the candidates who have secured admission in any of the earlier five cutoffs (including the special cut-off) will not be allowed to participate in the special drive.

The notification said, the candidates who could not take admission in any college of the University during the preceding cut-off for any reason up to the fifth cut-off (including the special cut-off) or canceled their admission and, therefore, would not be admitted given, but meeting any of the preceding cut-off and/or cut-off of the particular drive will be considered for admission under the special drive, provided seats are available in the said category.

“No movement will be allowed during the special operation. Candidates who have secured admission in any of the earlier five cut-offs (including special cut-offs) will not be allowed to participate in the special drive, which means those candidates who have already secured admission in any of the University of Delhi Program + College, will not be eligible to participate in the special drive. Therefore, the cancellation options will be suspended for the candidates during the special drive.”

If 20 students apply for four available seats, we will release a merit list of students and top four students will be eligible to get admission. Furthermore, students who have secured their admission in any of the colleges in the previous list cannot cancel their admission and apply to these colleges, the notification said.

In case of tie for one seat, the candidate with higher percentage of marks (aggregate of best five subjects including one language) in the qualifying examination will be considered first for admission; And, candidates with earlier date of birth (as mentioned in the class X certificate) will be considered for admission.
