Asks senior leaders of YSRCP to be prepared for a united opposition front in upcoming elections

Making a strong pitch for the continuation of the mass outreach programme, “Gadpa Gadpaki Prabhishyam”, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took no words in saying that the YSR Congress Party should go ahead with an intense fight against the united opposition in the next elections. You should prepare yourself.

Addressing a workshop of ministers, party in-charge and regional coordinators at his camp office in Tadepalli on Wednesday, Mr Jagan said the opposition parties had nothing to offer to the people as they did nothing while in power. did.

“Let me make it clear that ‘Gadpa Gadpaki Prabhum’ will continue for the next eight months, and there will be continuous review of the program. The program will be discussed and feedback will be taken. I am aware that some MLAs are not taking this program seriously. And I want them to participate in the program with enthusiasm later on. On the basis of this program, the MLAs will be evaluated and those who do not perform as per the expectations, they will be shown the way out.

Asking the legislators to focus on the complaints received during the programme, the YSRCP president said that the government has already set up an effective grievance mechanism.

“We have won 151 seats in 2019 and I have no reason why we should not win 175 seats in the next election. We should set a target of winning all the assembly seats and I am sure we can do that. We have implemented almost all the promises and prepared a letter explaining the welfare schemes we are implementing. Our schemes have benefited people of all parties, caste and religion. We have created history and are now able to face people with confidence,” Mr Jagan said.

Stating that his government has been able to bring about many path-breaking reforms in governance, the Chief Minister said that decentralized administration was introduced to the village as a single unit.

“Earlier, even 10 people could not work in a village, but now we have brought administration at the doorsteps of the people by setting up village secretariats, Rythu Bharosa centres, village clinics. Now is the time to go back to the people with confidence and seek their support to win again. People will support us because they have benefited from our rule. Has anyone thought that we will win in Kuppam? Has anyone imagined that we will win the MPTC/ZPTC elections? I am sure we can win 175 seats this time,” said Mr. Jagan.

When some MLAs raised the issue of power shortage, the Chief Minister said that the government is providing uninterrupted power supply to the farmers for nine hours. Even in times of power shortage, the government was continuously providing electricity and spending Rs 40 crore per day for the purchase of coal.

“Our welfare schemes have reached 87 per cent and I want the MLAs to go directly to the people, visit at least 10 ward/village secretariats in a month and tell people the good work we have done – nadu- Transformation of schools and hospitals under Nedu. Even those who have missed out on welfare schemes are being covered in July and September,” Mr Jagan said.

Senior party leader V. Vijaya Sai Reddy, advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, TTD president YV Subba Reddy, ministers, regional coordinators and district party chiefs were present.
