No one makes the art of cooking fun and interesting as much as Diljit Dosanjh. The singer-actor is also a self-confessed foodie. So, apart from eating a lot of spicy food, he is also someone who cooks up a storm in his kitchen. He often indulges in fun cooking sessions with his friends. To top it all, Diljit’s humorous remarks while cooking is matchless. You just have to check out her latest Instagram stories to get an idea of what we are talking about. He ate delicious food prepared by himself and his friends.

In the first Instagram Stories, he was the first to let us know what’s cooking. The menu included finger-licking fish curry (made by one of his friends) which Diljit referred to as “mermaid curry”. One of his vegetarian friends made delicious lemon mushrooms and Diljit made delicious chicken curry.
Meanwhile, he also introduces his friends as “chefs” for TODAY!

Later, he started the process of cooking a scrumptious chicken curry which he called ‘Kukuduku’. For this, Diljit first heats a little desi ghee in a pan. After this he adds bay leaves, black pepper and green cardamom. He says these spices are called “khade masala” in Hindi and he loves them.
Slowly, Diljit adds the chopped onions to the preparation and starts mixing them properly. Next comes the garlic ginger paste and then some salt, as explained by him in the video. Diljit adds turmeric powder which brings out a brilliant bright yellow color to the dish.
After this, Diljit puts the chicken in the preparation and starts cooking it. Then, he also adds some thick tomato and chilli puree to the curry and mixes well.
Finally, he covers the lid and lets it cook for about fifteen minutes, until the next time he opens the lid and pours in about two tablespoons of curd.
Diljit also shared a secret with his fans. He adds some mint leaves to chicken curry and says that this ingredient enhances the flavor of the curry manifold. Lastly, chopped coriander leaves are added over the chicken curry. Let us tell you that the chicken curry looked very tasty. As you can see in the picture, Diljit enjoyed it with white steamed rice.
Well, Diljit’s cooking diaries didn’t end here. He also rustled up a sweet dish. After all, you’ll need something for dessert too. right? For this, he heated some desi ghee in a pan. other ingredients? There was poppy seeds (khus khus), brown sugar and dry coconut. He starts with dry coconut, roasts it properly and adds poppy seeds and finally sugar. He also puts a dollop of desi ghee. Diljit decorates the sweet dish with a mixture of lots of dry fruits.
