Divita Rai crowned LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2022 – Times of India

Karnataka’s Divita Rai has been crowned LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2022. She will represent India at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandu was present to crown the new LIVA Miss Diva 2022. Telangana’s Pragya Ayyagar was declared LIVA Miss Diva Supranational 2022. She was crowned Miss Supranational Asia 2022 by Ritika Khatnani.

On a night full of dazzle and glamour, the winners were unveiled amidst fanfare in a star-studded ceremony at the renowned studio, Mahalaxmi in Mumbai. The event marked the significant victory of former national winner and current queen Miss Universe 2021 Harnaz Kaur Sandhu, and hosted a special moment on stage with former Miss Universe Lara Dutta. Harnaaz was also awarded the Pride of India Award. Also in the evening, the achievements of the former Miss Day were highlighted, followed by the crowning of LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2022 and LIVA Miss Diva Supranational 2022.

LIVA continues its partnership with the pageant for the third year in a row. In the short span of this incredible partnership between LIVA and Miss Diva, we have celebrated talented, versatile and confident young women who have realized their potential, supported socially relevant causes and made the nation proud Is. In addition, this year, the public had the opportunity to vote for the deserving queen from a pool of select talents to win the title of LIVA Miss Popular Choice 2022. The lucky winner will win a contract to represent LIVA as LIVA Miss Popular Choice 2022. After tabulation, the combined score of the online votes and the jury Ojaswi Sharma was declared the winner.

Miss Diva delegates have made the country proud with their presence on the global map, with the most recent win being Harnaz Kaur Sandhu (2021), as she won the coveted crown after a long gap of 21 years. Together we have two Miss Supranational victories, Asha Bhat (2014) and Srinidhi Shetty (2016), whose victories make India the only country to achieve the feat twice, and Srishti Rana’s Miss Asia Pacific win in 2013. .
