District Collector S. Karmegam on Saturday launched the Diwali sale at co-optex outlets in the district.
silk saris from Kancheepuram, Arani, Thanjavur and Salem; Cotton saris manufactured in Coimbatore, Madurai, Dindigul, Paramakudi, Tiruchi and Salem districts; Blankets, sheets, sheets and pillowcases are on sale. Special discount of 30% is offered on all purchases.
Mr. Karmegam said that this festive season a sales target of ₹ 7.30 crore has been set for the co-optex. Many people have joined Co-optex Kanavu Nanavu Savings Plan as it has offered additional benefits. Government and Government related organizations will get items on credit at 0% interest.
