New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said that citizens of other states will also start “demanding” it once the Punjab government’s policy of providing ration to the people is implemented.
In a virtual briefing, he said. “Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann ji has made a big announcement today that ration will be delivered to the doorsteps of the people, and this will greatly benefit the poor.”
“We are trying to implement this in Delhi also, but the BJP government at the Center is trying to obstruct the implementation of this policy in Delhi,” he alleged.
Earlier in the day, Punjab CM Mann announced the rollout of door to door ration distribution scheme In his state, adding that the poor will no longer need to stand in queues as good quality ration will be delivered at their doorstep.
